Our tour guide Iain was great! He was very knowledgeable, very witty, and very entertaining. He made sure everyone felt involved and could hear him. He told us great stories and was able to answer all our questions. I would recommend this tour and ask for Iain.

There were 21 in the group. It’s certainly not small group. The tour leader was unable to engage the group effectively. I could not hear her most of the time. And she’s insincere in her limited engagements with us.

I am sorry that you had issues hearing our guide. If you do compare group sizes from several companies in Munich, you will find 21 people still very much to be a small group I am afraid. Please keep in mind that we want to keep our tours affordable for every single traveller, and limiting group sizes to maybe 10 people will increase the costs for the tour by more than double. So please bear this in mind. If you do have issues understanding our guide, please feel free to inform our guide kindly and stand close to him / her, we surely want to ensure that all guests have a pleasant experience on our tour and are receiving all information given by our guide.

The guide was good, Bernd, abd compensared my anger. The phone booking I did with Viator was great until… I realised the girl on the phone (in the US I guess) had NO IDEA of what she was selling and confirned 3 times the meeting point I thought was the logical one, where all other tours start, in front of the Tourist Office. Well, that wasn’t the case and I missed 30 min of the tour. So I won’t be using Viator again.

Dan ("the bearded man")was a great guide! He was mindful of ensuring that the group walked at a pace suitable for all participants. His shared his knowledge about Munich in an interesting way and was very happy to answer any questions, as well as giving suggestions about good places to eat and to find the "best wheat beer in Munich". Feel free in future to notify the guide if you are having problems in hearing them or are struggling to possition yourself to hear them better. I'm sure they would do their best to speak a little louder, or call the goup together if they were made aware there was an issue. Sorry to read the tour was only worth a three star rating for you.
