Ludwig II Castle and Palace Trip
, May 2022
Great itinerary for our visit to Neuschwanstein and Linderhof Palace was terrific! Great, full day trip!! Awesome and sites to visit, and very knowledgable guide with historical commentary along the way.
Lovely, but just some advice
, May 2022
We walked the walk up to Neuwschwanstein, it is a steep incline, and was hot that day. If in doubt, consider horse/ carriage or the shuttle up- well worth it!
Lovely day trip would highly recommend

Had a lovely day made more enjoyable by our excellent tour guide Marcus. Both castles were well worth seeing and the history was very interesting. Had a lovely lunch in the Mueller hotel in Hohenschwangau which has been recommended by Marcus- here we got to sample the delicious white asparagus. It was quite a steep walk up to Neuschwanstein castle so would recommend the shuttle bus.
Great tour

Our tour guide Elizabeth and our driver Wolfgang are so sweet and kind. The tour is fantastic, I highly recommend this tour, beautiful scenery. Words can’t describe the beauty of the castle and the mystery of prince Ludwig II.

It was a perfect day for this visit. The weather was great and our tour guide Elisabeth and bus driver Wolfgang were very nice. Elisabeth gave us a lot of information on Linderhof and Neuschwanstein. This was my granddaughter’s first time to see these beautiful castles and she really enjoyed it. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Munich and wants to see Ludwig’s castles.
Two castles, long day
, May 2022
It’s a long day. We left at 820 and returned at 1845. Linderhof castle is beautiful and more time should be spent there. Very little time to explore gardens. Neuschwanstein is a rushed through tour with not enough time and too many people crowded in. Our tour guide, Gerda, was excellent. The castle tours themselves are a local guide (Linderhof) excellent and an audio guide at Neuschwanstein.
Very thankful to the tour...
