Great Dinner Cruise

The Cajun dinner was great. So was the live jazz band. The band did a good job of getting the audience involved. I enjoyed sitting out on the deck and listening to the music while watching the water and the people

Super Exciting Docking Upon Return from a Peaceful Cruise

Guy jumping overboard when we docked upon return and watching the crew going through the steps to rescue him. They had him out of the water in just a few minutes as he ended up in very shallow water. Still they responded very quickly. Otherwise, the very relaxed nature of the cruise was fantastic, the narrative during the cruise was informative and not intrusive and it was a beautiful day on the River. Would highly recommend this cruise as a dinner/brunch trip a participant would spend so much time eating/drinking instead o& enjoying the very interesting river (of course drinks were available!).

Good tour, Bad directions

The steamboat is beautiful! The historian was funny, informative and shared relevant info. I liked the option to buy drinks instead of a full meal. We got lost though! 1 Poydras Street is the address given. They need to give two addresses. How would we know the pier is 1 Poydras Street. Luckily, other passengers were lost too! The directions were very poor for tourists.

Not so exciting

The cruise itself was ok being on the boat in the water the waitstaff were really nice and so were the bartenders.. the guide was so monotonous that it was boring to listen to... we made the best of it drink laughing and talking. A tour guide definitely has to keep your attention or it won’t be a successful experience

Charles - the storyteller / history buff was amazing. He was entertaining and made you hang on every word. He got off the boat and did a full presentation at the battlefield. He made the trip 5 stars.
