Our tour guide was incredibly lively and knowledgeable. He brought life to the dead with his words. It was great!

Cemetery was not open, after being told that it would be when I booked. Guide didn't not remember dates and was telling stories that had nothing to do with the tour. We were told to arrive 15-20 minutes prior but guide arrived 20 minutes after tour start time. I expected to see more and get more information than I did about the Cemetery, voodoo and Marie Leveaux.

Our tour guide David was full of information. Although the cemetery was closed and we didn't have access, we still enjoyed all the knowledge he shared with us about New Orleans history. I couldn't download the video here but he serenated a beautiful cockatoo Iko!

Excellent Tour

We got a tour from a gentleman named Robert Florence. He was absolutely excellent he knew a lot about the cemeteries and New Orleans itself, and he had personally worked in the cemeteries restoring several tomes, he could answer every question we had and made it a whole experience fascinating. I would highly recommend this tour because I felt that it gave me the best understanding of New Orleans history and how it developed its culture, honestly one of the best tours I've ever been on.

Pretty rough...and not as advertised.

David was a wonderful, sweet individual I would have loved to have a beer with, but the tour was advertised as "voodoo and cemetery tour" which is why my daughters wanted to go. Within the first few minutes David stated that he isn't into that voodoo stuff and this will be more a historical tour. Ok, fine...but he didn't follow any recognizable script and his story line was really hard to follow. We paid attention, but the tour would benefit tremendously from a clear concept of what the guests should get out of it. It felt a lot like a shotgun approach of information randomly picked from the past 300 years sprinkled with tidbits over and over how "crazy" New Orleans is. Davis was sweet and animated, but I felt this was a missed opportunity.
