Not great. Kinda blah. Not much enthusiasm. Have been on better Garden District tours. Was embarrassed that I dragged friends out for lackluster tour.

Thank you for your feedback in this review. We are very sorry that your Garden District tour was so disappointing. I am happy that you and I were able to have a conversation after you wrote this review to discuss what went wrong, and we are taking your words very seriously. We gave you a full refund, which you generously donated to a New Orleans charity, so perhaps some good came out of the whole situation. I hope the rest of your New Orleans visit was better, and I am sure you provided some memorable experiences for your guests. Libby

A nice stroll through a beautiful area. Lots of good information provided. Enjoyable afternoon tour.

Thank you so much for this review of your Garden District tour. "Stroll" is exactly what it feels like to walk in that gorgeous, elegant historic neighborhood. It feels like you are walking through another time and another culture, and we are honored to be the "interpreter" for our guests, telling the stories of the people and events of the area to help everyone gain a deeper understanding of what makes it so special. Please come stroll with us again! Libby

Thanks for this great review of your garden District tour with Linda! She is so funny and she knows so much - she actually lives IN the Garden District ( well, close). She combines deep knowledge of the city with her own hilarious adventures as a resident. Thank you for choosing Lucky Bean! Please come back and tour with us again. Libby

Great time exploring the beautiful Garden District with James! He regaled us with stories of famous and not so famous historical current and previous home occupants. It was a fun peek into the past history of the magnificent homes in the Garden District.

James is funny and knowledgeable and the Garden District is beautiful and full of great stories about our history - it's a great combination! Thank you for choosing us from among the many great tour companies in New Orleans, and thanks also for writing us this great review. We will be here next time you come to spill all the secrets of this weird town. Libby

Great experience let by a very knowledgeable and personable tour guide (Linda). I would recommend selecting her if you have the opportunity. Unfortunately the cemetery was closed but I can not fault the tour company or guide for it. Great time was had.

Thanks for the review of your Garden District tour! It is quite a lovely neighborhood and Linda really knows it! We are also sad about the cemetery closure, but grateful for the opportunity to see in the gates and spend a little more time exploring the lovely mansions of the neighborhood. Silver linings! Please come take Linda's fabulous French Quarter tour next time. Libby

Great experience. Due to covid, groups are a lot smaller. Our tour guide Linda did an excellent job showing us around the garden district. She was extremely knowledgeable and had a great personality.
icon Response from Host , Jan 2021
We are so happy to have Linda on our team! She knows A LOT and she is sweet and really funny as well. We have always kept our groups small, but COVID has really made them tiny! However, constant tiny tours is like boot camp for guides. We have no choice but to fully engage with our guests, answer questions, and customize. The result has been some really memorable experiences for us and our visitors. In our attempts to explain the culture of New Orleans, each of us has gained some new insights into the city we love. See y'all next time - Linda gives French Quarter tours, too! Libby

Thanks thanks thanks! I am so happy that you enjoyed your Garden District tour with the funny and friendly Mr. James. He knows the Garden District so well, and he just has such a great way of bringing out the funny connections and details and sharing them with his lucky guests. Please come again in the Spring - the Garden District is even more beautiful when the magnolias and jasmine are blooming! Libby

I highly recommend this tour. James is one of the best tour guides I’ve experienced in New Orleans. I learned so much history and saw so much beauty on this tour.

Thank you for this review that is as beautiful to us as the Garden District! In these times, current reviews mean the world to us and we are so thankful that you took the time to write one. The Garden District is elegant, historic, and beautiful, and is just as real a part of New Orleans as the French Quarter and jazz. Everyone should see it, and, if they can, with a great guide like James. Please come stroll with us again. Even more beauty and history await. Libby
