Fantastic tour but no crocodiles

Because of the cold water we have not seen crocodiles. Big disappointment for the kids... Nevertheless, this was a wonderful trip with a fantastic guide who told us a lot about the swamp and its inhabitants

Awesome tour with pickup included

These guys are professional, entertaining, and experienced residents of the bayou. Captain Hunter was a newer guide but still very knowledgeable of the swamp ecosystem. We saw reptiles, birds, Ferrel pigs, and lots of Spanish moss, even on a cold day. Beautiful ecosystem and an eye-opening view of the swamp life on the Pearl River. Don’t be too much in a hurry for pickup if you are getting picked up in the French Quarter as there is always a chance of late pickup. Ours was 30 minutes late but was a great ride with a mini tour to the river. I highly recommend this company for your swamp adventures.

Miss Connie, our driver was punctual, professional and friendly. Once arriving to Honey Island we were greeted and given clear directions. On the boat, Captain Chris was full of interesting facts and fun stories. Even though it was out of season he went out of his way to find us creatures and we were lucky enough to spot a gator and some raccoons. The boat was comfortable and I felt safe. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone trying to get out of the hustle and bustle of NOLA.

Loved this tour

Such a fabulous tour, our guide was just brimming with local knowledge from tales of frogging to hunters lost in the swamp and hunters cabins lost in the water!! We saw many smaller alligators as we visited post hunting season but it was definitely entertaining to see them coming up for the hot dogs and marshmallows. We even got see a wild pig (who tried to climb into one of the posts) and the Great Bald Eagle himself. A wonder ful day in the swamp - I would definitely recommend it!

Captain Tony was fun and informative. Seeing alligators would have been great, but they’re starting their hibernation.
