Informative and Entertaining

Our tour guide was Charmane (sp?) and she was wonderful. The tour began promptly at 8:30p and lasted until 10:00p. Charmane was a wonderful storyteller, sharing interesting information about the history of vampires in New Orleans and from around the world. She took our group to several location within the Quarter, providing details of vampire legends and events that had taken place onsite. She debunked many myths and provided details of how vampire myths originated. Educational and interesting. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t really understand the instructor and boring . The trainee took over for a bit and he was awesome

Thank you for your review, although I'm not really sure what you are referring to with regard to instructor / trainee. The Vampire Tour is one of our most popular tour options exploring vampires both real and fictional on the streets of New Orleans.

Maybe a different guide would've been better

Couldn't understand the tour guide, Guideon. He was very animated but had so many theatricals, every time he turned his head, we lost what he was saying. The fake accent doesn't help. We gave it 2 stories in and then walked away. Waste of money.

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry that you couldn't understand your tour guide. He is actually one of the more popular guides that we have on the Vampire tour. And honestly, he does not 'fake an accent'. That is is real voice. If you will contact me directly, I will be happy to comp you on the same, or a different tour with a different guide.

BORING

This was quit possibly the WORST, MOST BORING, vampire tour we have ever taken. We were there New Year's, during ControlaVirus, most places were closed, but the tour itself was boring, we actually left halfway through.

Thank you for your review, however it's hard to take you seriously when you wait 6 months to post a negative review of a tour you took back in December. If you were that upset with your tour experience, why didn't you contact us at the time you took the tour? Our excellent reputation speaks for itself and while I am happy to address any complaints customers may have (which are few), yours simply doesn't ring true.

It was a great historical tour of the mystery spots in New Orleans. Our guide was very theatrical and entertaining. He was also very knowledgeable about the different folklore, mythology and modern media about vampires! Well worth it!

Fantastic Tour/So much more than we expected
Aimee_C
, May 2021
So much more than we expected. Bobby, our guide was originally from Transylvania and so wonderful! Highly recommend. Tour was not just a campy trip through the streets of FQ and Hollywood vamp tour spots, we did see those spots but the highlight of the tour were the actual documented accounts of true crimes like the Carter Brothers, Jacques St Germain and the Casket Girls. My 17yo daughter really enjoyed the tour as well.
