The poor relative
Heather_M

As I was travelling with my granddaughter chose the buffet option. Big mistake!. Whilst the other dining spaces were quite delightful the buffet is definitely the poor relative. Was a most depressing room in the pointy end of the vessel - windows were dirty and whilst you could not fault the meal or entertainment the overall impression of the surroundings was just awful.

Really disappointing!

When we arrived in the lounge we were thinking that it was a mistake: old type of decoration, little space for everybody including the entertainers and no specific attention to our family unlike all the other restaurants we went to during our full stay in Hawaii. The value for the money spent (more than 400$) is very low if you take into account that the singer is just putting a CD for the music and trying to stay on track with it, the dinner quality is so so and the dancers have just 2 square meters to perform their show. For the sunset, we were denied to access the best spots to see the sunset because of a party...Definitely it was a complete disappointment compared to the details and pictures shown on the website. Keep your money for a Luau and it will be a better experience.

Good but Not Good

Very pleased with the boat and the views but the food buffet was below standards. The dining room was too full and crowded. Upper deck and views were great

A highly organised event. Crew very friendly and welcoming . The night passed by quickly as staff entertained most of the trip. The buffet was ok nothing flash and the inside of ship a little dated.overall a good experience.

Sunset Cruise

This sunset cruise was a mix of entertainment, amazing views, and very good food, for a buffet! The Matre’d was very accommodating in seating us (Party of four). The entertainment was a little hokey, but very entertaining! The reason why I gave this a three stars is that the service was terrible! The waitstaff never came to ask if we wanted a drink (10.00 for a mixed drink. 5.00 for non alcoholic drinks). They only provided service for certain tables. Which was very odd. I would have given a higher rating otherwise.

I am really glad I did this tour. The ship is quite large and dinner seating is largely inside. There are also lots of large parties and families, that was not clear from the description. Once the dinner was over and it was a good buffet, the entertainment was great. Also, you were able to go up to the top of the ship and see open air views which is what i was looking for.

Pick up was handy with two small children in our party. Boat, meal and show were excellent. Plenty of food on the self serve buffet, tasted great. Dessert as well. Topped off with the fireworks at the end. Highly recommended.
