Overview

Go whale-watching off the coast of Oahu on this excursion from Waikiki or Ko Olina. During the months from December to May, pods of humpback whales migrate through Hawaii's warm waters, and this tour guarantees whale sightings. With a small group of people, watch the gentle giants swim, feed, breach and play around your boat. In the rare event that you don't see any whales, you will be allowed to do the tour again for free. Snacks are included.

  • Board a catamaran or monohull for a 2-hour cruise to spot humpback whales
  • Bust out binoculars to see the mighty mammals swim, play or feed
  • Learn more about the migration pattern of humpback whales from your expert guide
  • Bring your own lunch to enjoy, or nibble on provided snacks

Crew was friendly and attentive. We saw whales! The weather was cloudy and it rained a little. But then we got a rainbow, so it's all good. Great tour, I really enjoyed it!

Successful whale sightings

Crew did a great job and found whales and dolphins for us to see. Be warned that this trip requires you to remove your shoes. Had I known that up front, we likely would have chosen a different vendor as I have foot and ankle issues that makes going barefoot or without shoes with certain supports, painful. So while the trip was fun and we enjoyed ourselves, it was uncomfortable for me. Other than that, the crew was great and very friendly and it was worth the money.

Relaxing afternoon at sea-with whales!

The captain & skippers were nice and knowledgable. Everyone wanted to see the whale tails and have a shot at naming a baby whale. Sadly, none of us snapped such a coveted picture. There were ample photo and video opportunities as it's tough to beat the afternoon ocean sun with views of Waikiki in the background. The crew was also willing to exchange email addresses to distribute photos in which we were captured--overall a very pleasant afternoon with numerous whale sitings!
