After a fascinating trip to the local market we went to Geraldo's mother's house to prepare the food we had purchased. It was a beautiful Mexican home with a very well- equipped kitchen. Our chef was a good teacher and was adept at involving everyone in the tasks required to prepare our lunch. We all chopped, pounded, stirred and learned a lot - how to make moles, tortillas, salsas and more. I can hardly wait for chef Geraldo to email me the recipes so I can try all this at home.
It was an excellent day- fun and informative.
