Layover (Stopover) City tour and Panama Canal Visit

I booked this trip for my mum who doesn't speak Spanish and speaks English briefly. It turned out to be a private tour for her and she really enjoyed her time with the guide Cristian! Thank you so much for everything!

We speak before i arrived with my guide Miguel wich time i ariived and where meet in outside the airport. Miguel is very nice person and very well informed, knows everything if you ask. Little drive the early morning traffic jam across the city to the panama channel. Before we arrived Miguel check one application the ship actual across the channel so in time arrived how work the lock. Entrece fee is 10 usd, very amazing and interesting and of course is slow becouse the ship huge and the lock small. after little drive the close restaurant eat little, good and tasty food and most important cheap. after we go to Mirador de las Américas where se the all panoramic view the channel. next stop to Panama Sign in isla flamneco, very nice are. little drive and we go to old town. os so amazing and little busy becouse many car move and one way, small streets around so i jump out and Miguel go around becouse no parking places, funny, but only option so i see around Plaza de la Independencia, after pick up me 15 minutes later. After Plaza de Francia same tactic. this all trip so after this we go back to the airport catch in thime the plane. So if you stopover panama just choice Miguel he very nice, good person and professional guide. Thanks

Miguel's tour was an awesome way to view Panamá City! I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it rather than waiting in the airport. During the trip, I learned a tremendous amount of history while driving and walking through the city. Miguel is a wealth of information and he made the points of interest come alive with all of the detail he provided. The top thing on my list was to see the Canal, and Miguel timed it just right so that we could catch a ship going through it! During the rest of the tour, we walked along several plazas in the older part of town and drove through the buildings that make up the incredible skyline. Miguel was very conscious of what I wanted to do and made sure that we saw everything with time to drop me off at the airport for my flight. We also shared a nice lunch which was delicious. Overall Miguel is an awesome guide and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone traveling through Panamá, whether you are solo or in a group! Thanks Miguel!

Miguel was waiting for me at the airport. We had a fun tour where he showed me many sites of the city and took me to the canal. We also had a fabulous lunch a place with local food. He shared a lot of information on the history of the city and sites we passed which I really enjoyed. Highly recommend!

Miguel was Awesome!!! My Daughter and I had a 6 hour layover in Panama and decided to do some sightseeing instead of wasting our time at the airport. Miguel, our tour guide messaged me letting me know he would be outside as we walk out the airport. He actually called me on the phone just as we were about to walk out. It was a quick walk to his car where he offered us bottle water and turned on the AC since it was very hot outside. As we drove to Casco Viejo he mentioned different buildings/sites along the way. We walked around the old town and admired several ruins and a beautiful church. Enjoyed some shaved iced and took many photos. Our next stop was the Panama Canal, unfortunately due to COVID the visitors center is closed so we were unable to get the best view of the canals chambers. We were able to park at a stop right outside the canal along with other viewers and see 3 ships going through. Our 3rd stop was the causeway over to 3 small islands. Great views with many restaurants and shops and lots of biking activities available. Our final stop was suppose to be lunch but my Daughter was so tired she preferred to go back to the airport. Miguel was very happy to oblige and took us back. We were super happy with our tour and our guide was excellent! Aside from the tour fee we also tipped Miguel for his wonderful tour of the city. Thank you Miguel. Will definitely contact you the next time we are in your city.

Miguel is a very acknowledged, professional and friendly guide. I enjoyed my layover in Panama city and would love to stay longer. My only wish about the tour was to stay longer in Casco Viejo and less at the Canal.
