I really liked the tour and Tony was very knowledgeable, however, the only con is that in the website it said that lunch and tickets to the Panama Canal, but we had to pay for it so thought the price was expensive for jot including this.

About the cons; on Viator web site it says “time for lunch” not lunch included as the lunch is wherever you like and it would be expensive if you order a lobster! The ticket to the canal used to be $20.00 and that is exactly why we do not include it; the price has changed to $10.00 and can change anytime!! Keep safe!! Thanks again!! Tony

Seeing the locks in action was definitely the highlight of the trip. Our guide Tony spoke excellent Englush and was very knowledgeable, not only about the canal but about Panama in general. He was friendly, helpful and courteous. Tony was very flexible in working around the weather and a strike that was going on. This was a great value and we would highly recommend this trip.

I toured with Mario on my solo trip to Panama. He was pleasant and high energy the entire time. There was thorough communication from start to finish via emails and what's app. He got our tour group of 8 people to The Panama Canal early enough to catch the entire process of a ship going through the locks. He drove us to all the main Panamanian city attractions listed in the trip overview and even added in the Panama Canal administration building, the Centennial Bridge, and a local Panamanian restaurant for lunch. This tour offered a great way to explore the city in a way I could never on my own.

What a wonderful tour guide and a wonderful tour. I would recommend this to anyone. I found it educational and enlightening to learn about the canal from someone so knowledgeable. Tony even tracks when a ship is coming through so that you are at the canal at the exact right moment to see a ship go through. Boy efficient.

They told me to be ready a 7:20 am at other Hotel. They pick me one hour later. Miscommunication between tour guy and other couple cost me the transition of the boat at the canal. When we get to the area was the end of the transition. Everything else was good.

Dear mr Alvaro! We are sorry for this inconvenience! As you said there was miscommunication, but, it was not on our side; as always we organized everything like a clock! The other couple provided a wrong hotel and that caused the delayed as we do not like to leave anyone behind! 15 minutes delay, not one hour can cause these kind of inconveniences as the visitor center has its schedules. Excellent and educational tour of the canal, the old city and Panama

Miguel grew up in Panama City and gave us an excellent tour with insightful history on the city and country. We arrived at the Miraflores Lockes early enough to see two ships go through. Afterwards the driving tour took us to significant parks and monuments on the way to Casco Viejo. Miguel patiently navigated the challenging traffic in the old city until we found parking. We did some walking, visited an air conditioned church and headed to the bustling fish market for lunch. We also met Tony, who was giving a family the same tour. We thought this tour was well worth it and we liked Miguel so much we booked the Monkey Island and Gambia tour for the next day, Highly recommend.
