This activity will end right where it started.
Your ATV tour starts from Rock Springs, a community located in Black Canyon City, north of Phoenix. Check in with your guide for a safety briefing and training then slip on your helmet, goggles, and gloves before setting off for the Bradshaw Mountains. Rev the engine of your single-rider all-terrain vehicle and motor through the rugged landscapes of the Sonoran Desert.

The ride takes you off-road toward a private shooting range that is both educational and entertaining. See saguaro cacti and deep canyons carved by flash floods, and cross the Agua Fria River. Along the way, take in the scenic beauty and possibly spot abundant desert wildlife such as coyotes, bobcats, deer, rabbits, quail, and snakes. Your guide is knowledgeable about the region's plant life, wildlife, and history, with plenty of stories to share.

Once you arrive at the shooting range, an NRA-certified instructor informs you of the use of 9mm handguns, AK47 semi-automatic rifles, and AR-15 semi-automatic rifles. Gun selections are updated on a regular basis to incorporate new and thrilling options. Ride back after your shooting adventure with new knowledge about gun safety and the Arizona desert.

We were visiting from LA for a quick VACA … and “EVERYONE” !!! From Sam to kennedy, Rich and whole staff was amazing! 🤍 This was our first time on ATVs and shooting and it was absolutely the best time this was the coolest experience !💦 This spot literally they spray you with water if you want lol and The GUNS…. man total different respect for people who handle … it’s was super exciting i was sweating in my pants lol super dope ! 👌🏽Learning is so much better 🙏 The staff made the experience so much better so funny and the hospitality was amazing! Would def head up here again got a great tan too ☺️ haha best Tk

amazing views! I wish Austin our tour guide drove the utv instead of making my bf drive. he really was looking forward to the desert atv experience. BEWARE - this is an expert rated course I did not feel comfortable as a first timer and the only alternative is an utv which can only be driven by 2 people!

Jason was our Tour guide he was funny and awesome. Highly recommend a raise for that guy. It was fun shooting guns first time shooting a 50 Cal. ATV ride was awesome but our group is kind of slow so we had to slow down a bunch of times but it was cool.

The staff was very attentive, patient, and had a sense of humor. Novice ATV riders should understand these trails are very rugged, difficult and potentially dangerous if you aren’t prepared enough. Too many tourist arrive in vacation attire. Wear good sturdy shoes/boots and consider long pants. No flip flops. You will get dusty no matter what. The gun range was fun as well.

I took y girlfriend to ride and shoot on her bday. We had a great time. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We shoot and rode the trails. The owner, Brad, came up to make sure we had everything we needed. Great team and lots of fun.

The guide was excellent. He was very informative and helpful. The views were fantastic and the UTV trails were challenging and exciting. I am a very experienced ATV rider and the guide properly advised us to use the UTV's. Driving a 4-wheeler over all over those rocks and hill climbs would have been exhausting and a bit dangerous. The UTV's were a blast and the right choice. Shooting the Barrett 50 Cal sniper rifle was awesome! I would make one suggestion to the management of Arizona Outdoor Adventures and that would be to have the guns already set up and ready to go when we get to the range. We wasted a lot of time getting guns set up and some guns were missing and one of them didn't have enough clips. The guide made up for it with a lot of scrambling and gave us some extra shooting for the inconvenience but it would have been better if it was all ready to go when we got there.
