We enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide was clear and easy to listen to, and we found it interesting, and so did our teenage kids. We plan to spend one night at the hotel at the end of our trip, so maybe that made it a bit more interesting for us.

Beautiful hotel described by a wonderful tour guide in character as the Canadian architect, William Maxwell. It was a lot of fun and we’ll worth the visit. The Château Frontenac needs to be explored and a tour is the best way to do it. The pictures and views are a plus!

Our tour guide tried very hard to make this somewhat lackluster tour more interesting, so I give him serious credit. The tour consisted mostly of listening to facts about the hotel with a few stops inside. I was expecting to see more interior features.

Delightful and informative tour! Our tour guide began our tour on the boardwalk outside, telling us the history of the hotel and showing historical photos. We then followed him into the hotel through several elegant rooms as he continued his presentation. He was very professional, pleasant, knowledgeable, and had a nice sense of humor as well. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic tour, our tour guide was simply put just “excellent” I had my 12 and 14 year old daughters with me too and even they enjoyed it and agreed She was excellent. She made history fun 😀 and wanting more!! She was entertaining, knowledgeable and her story telling skills are just perfect!!

Great stories told by the guide, however only three places in the hotel were shown. This is the second time I do this tour and they have not improved showing more locations in the castle. The outside, one events room and the roof garden. It would be great if you could take a look at one of the typical rooms, go up to floor 18th to have a better look of old Quebec, and walk some of the aisles in the chateau. This tour, even though the guide was great, did not meet my expectations

We were hoping to see some interesting parts of the Chateau including guest rooms. We were shown the two biggest ball rooms and the Salon Rose which would have been the best part of the tour. The group was big and the host had a strong accent so it was difficult to follow. We spent the first 10 minutes outside looking at photos. And be sure to use the washroom before you get to the meeting point (there isn’t one there) - or you’ll have to wait till the end of the tour.

How can you go to Quebec City and NOT explore the “elephant” in the skyline? The Hotel was built well over 100 years ago, and on an incredibly grand scale. I wanted to see if the inside was as grand as the outside- and it is!

Short and to the point tour that covers the amazing history of the hotel. Highlight of tour was visiting the room the FDR and Churchill used to discuss Operation Overlord....blow away by being able to stand in the same room as some of the greatest leaders the world has ever known.
