Your Rome culinary adventure starts in Piazza Farnese, where you meet your guide and set off on your walking tour, making your way first to Campo de’ Fiori. Visit the popular food market here, where stalls overflow with fresh veggies, meats, and cheeses. While you take in the bustling atmosphere, meet some of the vendors, who provide samples of their tasty goods.

Next, head over to Trastevere, a quaint neighborhood whose cobbled lanes are home to favorite local restaurants and cafes. Walk through the district with your guide, stopping at various eateries for tastings of classic Roman dishes like pasta, pizza bianca (pizza with no tomato sauce), fresh mozzarella cheese, locally cured salami, and artisan gelato.

Then continue to the Jewish Quarter, a bohemian district south of Rome’s historical center known for its vintage shops and art studios. Stop by local grocery stores and delicatessens around Piazza della Cinque Scole for samples of specialties like risotto balls, known as suppli, and fried artichokes and codfish.

With a full stomach, your tour ends in Trastevere.

We did this tour on our first night in Rome which was a great way to see some sights and taste a variety of dishes. Our guide was amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly. We were with a few other couples which was nice to chat with others with wine and food. I would highly recommend this tour!

We booked this tour on our first Fay in Rome. We enjoyed our time with Antonia, it was like being introduced to Rome by a friend or family member. This to her was a great way to be introduced to traditional Roman food and get an orientation of the city and food history.

The tour was fantastic....

The tour was fantastic. Valeria was very knowledgeable of Roman food and showed us many authentic foods. A highlight for me was the market where she showed us local vegetable, meat, and cheese specialties. The food we ate at the restaurants had the ingredients we discussed at the market. My only regret is doing this on our last day in Rome, so we didn't have time to go back and use our new knowledge.

What a lovely experience. Daniella was a wonderful host, she was knowledgeable and fun. We had a history lesson and food tasting experience. I am so happy we took the tour in our first days here it enhance the remainder of our stay in Roma. It is easy walking, small group so the pace is nice and the conversation and discussion about either the food or the sites along the way was great for the entire group. Thank you

Anastasia was AMAZING! I had such an amazing time on the tour with her. It was my 3rd time in Rome but I still learned so many new things from her. The whole experience was a pleasure and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend you arrive ready to eat and drink a lot of good food and wine.

Valeria was wonderful…so knowledgeable, funny, and had lovely personal stories to share. She also made sure I had food options at almost every stop, as I don’t eat most of the traditional foods known to Rome. Lovely small group of folks on the tour.

This was such a great experience. Our guide was delightful - so warm and kind and knowledgeable. It was cool to see 3 different areas of Rome. We ate at 3 different restaurants. The group was probably the best part- it was like dining with a little circle of new friends. Everyone was so friendly and the food and wine were delicious. Highly reccomend.
