Maybe it was just too hot.

Favorite parts of trip? Getting on the boat and getting off. Actually, going past Old Fort Jackson was interesting. But that was only a few minutes. To add insult, my wife decided to order food for us. They brought fried shrimp instead of grilled. We don’t eat fried food like that. Didn’t bring the (ended being a very tiny serving) coleslaw or cocktail sauce. Talked to the bartender/order taker. She said they would bring grilled shrimp, coleslaw, and cocktail sauce. Gave her a $5 tip. Never received the grilled shrimp or cocktail sauce. At least all that annoyance passed some of the time on the water.

Nice cruise, enjoy it on a balmy day, avoid when it is over 90.

The narrative while on board was great. The ride itself was pleasant. The riverboat was clean. However, the weather was extremely hot, and after waiting on a long line in the sun to get on board, then another line just to get water was ludicrous. I am surprised there were no heat emergencies. water should have been immediately available and free. More shaded areas would have been nice.

Very nice cruise. We didn't realize all of the history Savanah has. The narrator was very fun and upbeat, even though it was extremely hot.

just ok

The speaker was good at his jobs. The employees were nice. The cruise itself was uneventful. There is really nothing that notable to see. Not many sights. I pretty much felt you're on the boat to buy food and drinks and a photo. The trolley is probably much more scenic and shows you all of Savannah.

Maybe during the off season it will be better

Unorganized ticket taking for those that purchase vis internet. In the summer, know there will be a long time to board boat and there is no shade from summer heat. Once on board, if you want to sit outside, chances are, you cannot hear the tour guide narrate because PA system cannot overcome the ambient noises. If you go inside, you can hear the tour guide and enjoy air conditioning. However, once room fills with people, you run into the issue of no longer being able to hear the tour guide. All in all: In the summer, it will be hot. Know that even if you have a ticket emailed to you, you have to get a paper ticket on arrival at a little kiosk. If you realllly want to hear the informative history of the River and port, this may annoy you- but chances are you’ll be so hot, you will give up on caring about any of that and just want to disembark. Not a horrible experience, everyone was nice. But I wouldn’t do again or recommended. Maybe during off season, experience would be better?

Wasn't what they said it would be. Unless you like to look at industrial business then you may like it. But thete was 2 good things to look at but other then that it was a waste of money & time. And the lines for drinks was so long you stood there forever. Find something else to do.
