Admire the park-like squares, tree canopies and floral landscapes of this pretty city as you take a leisurely stroll through the streets and squares of the downtown area and Old Savannah. Your guide will share stories about Savannah’s role as a strategic port city during the American Revolution and Civil War before ending your tour back at Reynolds Square.

Tour did not happen

There was apparently confusion about the date for our tour, so no one was there when we showed up. We had rescheduled it, but my tickets said Wednesday and they claimed we were scheduled for Friday. They agreed to refund my credit card but have not yet done so.

Our guide was in place for the tour on the date the reservation was made. When we realized that a mistake had been made by the ticket seller, we offered you a refund and a complimentary tour. You declined the offer. We are confused as to why this warranted a negative review.

Tour During COVID Time

I thought our tour was great. It was a great start for my brother and I because we have never been to Savannah before and it kind of gave us direction on where to go and further explore after. Brad was interesting to listen to. You can tell he really enjoys what he does and loves history. It’s a crazy time and I know people are scared to leave their house, let alone travel. Life has to go on. Be smart of course and considerate of others. You only have one summer of 2020. Make something out of it! :)

Brad, the guide, led our small group through many of the historical squares explaining the history behind the monuments and placards, including several stories about the cemetery and a haunted building along the way. He described the legacy of many heroes, some familiar, some new to me. Brad was very friendly and answered any questions we had. We definitely enjoyed our walking tour!
