Genteel and Bard's Savannah Dark History and Ghost Walking Tour

I hate to leave a bad review but I was not a fan of this tour. It is very long- 3 hours to be exact. Though I did not know that, it was not on the paperwork they sent to me. It is a lot of walking, a lot. If you have trouble walking or get sore feet, forget it. Not a lot of time for sitting and listening on this tour. You don't go in any buildings or hear about grisly murders or unexplained events. It is more stories of the past and murders. The narrator was overly enthusiastic and jumping around like a bad actor. It was a bit comical and gave me and my friend a good laugh which was almost the highlight of this tour. It was nice to walk around Savannah at night with all the beautiful lights so you can see the beauty of Savannah at nighttime in the safety of a group and that was the best thing about this tour. Skip it. The hop on hop off tour was great however but I digress.

Bradford was fantastic. Best tour guide we experienced. He kept everyone's attention and somehow managed to know everyone's name in the group.

Bradford was an amazing host! He was so animated and kept us intrigued from the start of our tour to finish.

The tour was fun and informative. Our guide, Jovi, was very engaging and offered local folklore and his own experiences to add fun, humor and spookiness into the tour.

Great guide. Amazing story telling! Liked that he had electronics so you didn’t miss anything that was said.

Guide was boring ... felt like the speech’s he gave were scripted and not interesting. Not Authentic. Would not recommend. Left early

I loved the ghost tour. Our guide was Jovi and he was very knowladgable about the area and was even able to tell me about the hotel I was staying at that was not apart of the tour. I will say the meet up is a little strange but he approached us. I do recommend calling to get a description of the guide. This service does not mark them with costumes or lanterns.

We had a great time in the tour! Bradford was so entertaining and knowledgeable. This was one of our trip highlights. I highly recommend this during your trip to Savannah!

I’ve been to Savannah on mini vacations at least 6 times and I’ve done 3 different ghost tours. This was by far the best! I’d recommend anyone who enjoys history and mystery to take this tour. It was fun and interesting. The microphone was a great touch so we could hear everything and explore.

The tour was very fun and informative. The guide was very knowledgeable and seemed to very much appreciate the history and respect the city, as opposed to someone who just walks around and recites a memorized paragraph they read in some ghost story book. The headsets were very effective. I would highly recommend this tour!
