Well organised and good guide but not long enough to explore cordoba

Pick up was on time and we made two additional stops. We stopped for a 10 minutes break before we got to Cordoba. Ana was great and very knowledgeable. Her English is excellent. The tour was great but we only had 1 hour 40 minutes to explore cordoba and that was too short. We had to meet the minibus at 3.30 and it was a bit rushed. We couldn’t even find a place to eat lunch as everywhere was booked. It would be better to have longer to explore cordoba.

Fabulous guide .. Catherine and Maria and the person who drove us there, Nicholas were all fantastic. Very knowledgeable, explained well, very patient with answering questions too. Catherine was super funny too and kept us entertained throughout 😍😍🤩

    Poor logistics

My guide, Catharine, was quite good. And I thoroughly enjoyed Cordova. The logistics of figuring out where to meet and getting there, however, where poor. I had to call Viator, send a message to the tour operator, and also got a message from the tour operator. All three sources of information give me different times or locations to meet the tour. Then after driving around the city for 45 minutes for pick ups, it was clear that the last pick up was far closer to where I was staying than where I had to walk to meet The tour at the earliest pick up time. Apparently, because there were not enough people, two tours were combined, and so we ended up getting back about three hours later than what I originally booked. Very poor showing by Viator.

The sights coverd where what was mentioned and they did not sapoint. In fact Cordoba is beautiful. What was lacking was the organization of the tour. Being handed off from one to three different guides was stresful, though it all worked out.

The tour guide at the mesquita was very knowledgeable and her English as facile. The guide on the ride up to Cordoba was struggling to find English words but her Spanish expiations were good. Unfortunately we saw Cordoba during ‘show your patio’ week but while other tours had lined up a patio visit, our tour had not. Fortunately I have seen patios with potted flowers before. Seeing Carmine and Cordoba is wonderful.

If you have only one day for Córdoba

It was a good day trip to visit cordoba. I’d recommend this if you have only one day for Córdoba. And I think Carmona I could have skipped although it was interesting to see how people live in this old city. The guide Henriques was good and the group of 10 people was the right size.

Did not offer the tour pick up from hotel as promised. Was transferred to another tour company that did not go to all the places that was on the ticket. This was a rushed experience. I have requested a refund.

    Very disorganized tour. Felt Cheated

If you're in Andalusia, please visit Cordoba, especially the Mosque, but please do not waste your money on this tour! First and foremost, I felt cheated because the tour was not as advertised. I booked an English tour, but I realized that the tour was ONLY given in Spanish when I arrived. I asked the guide if there's an English option, and she told me that her tour company never gives English tours. So I just ended up spending the whole day not being able to understand a word the guide said. What a waste of money! I would have been better off if I had just taken a train to Cordoba by myself and hired a local guide who speaks English. As for the disorganized part, the communication between the tour operator and customer was just horrible. I received a message telling me the pick-up time, expecting that I would have been picked up from my hotel. I read some reviews about the confusion about pick-up time and location, so I sent a WhatsApp message to confirm, then learned that the pickup location was actually a 10 minute walk from my hotel. If the company is already reaching out to customers about pick-up time, it shouldn't be hard to include some more instructions. If I hadn't double checked with the company, I would have waited at my hotel like an idiot. In addition, there was never any communication about the itinerary of the whole tour, e.g. where we visit first, how much time we have at each location, when we take a break, or when we have time to explore by ourselves. A guy who might have been from the tour company showed up when we got off the bus to hand us off to the local tour guide, and then just disappeared. We never saw him again. It seems that they outsourced different parts of the tour, i.e. transportation, guide, to different companies, and as a result, the whole experience lacked coherence, and definitely not worth what I was paying for. I would give a 0 star if I could. The only star is for the effort of the local guide (the people who spoke Spanish told me that she did a good job explaining the history of the Mosque), and the comfortable transportation. Other than that, there's really no point doing this tour if you can't understand anything and have a terrible experience.

Córdoba is a must see in Andalucía

You can not miss Córdoba! And this tour is perfect for it. It has enough time to visit the Mosque-Cathedral and the old town. The guide knows a lot and is constantly sharing interesting data. Note that because of Covid, things close earlier. We didn’t have time to see the Sinagogue or the Alcazar from the inside.
