Very nice tour. They picket us up at our location at 8:10 and brought us back at around 14:30. While the walk on the vulcan at +/- 2000 m.a.s.l. we learned a lot about the Etna and the eruptions. Our very nice guide (Mauricio), spoke good english and italian. We can definitely recommend this tour.

The tour guide was a great guy, funny, knowledgeable and experienced with driving. Tour pick up and drop off times were accurate which I was grateful for. A 6 hour concise tour explaining what Mt Etna is and why it is important. Definitely do this!

I enjoyed the tour and it was perfect for what I wanted and the time I had To see Etna- however I didn’t find the guide’s English very clear at all (as nice and relaxed as he was) He spoke better French than English.

We had two guides for this trip, one of which was a studying geologist. With his help and explanation we learned a lot as we traveled through the tour. Both of our guides were fantastic, friendly and knew a great deal. A bit of helpful information is that you will be brought up to around 2000 meters by van and will do a bit of light hiking. Make sure you check the weather and dress accordingly. There were some stunning views of Mt. Etna and the surrounding areas. Definitely make this tour a part of your trip.

Fun and interesting trip up the Etna slopes. Very well-organised! Small group (eight people) and a knowledgable, engaged guide. Tour isn't too long or exhausting and gives a good impression of mount Etna's might

They picked me up at the hotel on time. Itbwqs a 2 minivan tour. The guide talked to us via walkie talkie. Daniele was really funny. Melania was our driver, she speaks perfect english, french. The Etna is impressive... we walked an hour on an easy trail over lava trails.. (thabks god it was easy. )Up there is really chilly... take warm clothes and long trousers. With a good pair of gym shoes is enough. It is a must do in Catania.

We had a very knowledgable, fun tour guide who explained a lot about the volcano and the surrounding area. I learned a lot! We were picked up from the hotel and were driven to the refuge by a minibus together with a very small group. We went for about an hour of hike there, looked at the different formations and learned a lot about recent eruptions. Then we had some free time to explore the area. After that we went to see a lava cave and Valle del Bove. We got helmets for the cave and upon request they provide hiking boots as well, everything included in the price. I say if you want to see the volcano but don't want to commit to a whole day of trekking, this tour is for you.
