Good for avoiding crowds

The Blue Grotto is the most famous sight on Capri, but the long wait at the cave entrance means that many boat tours skip a stop here. With this tour, set sail first thing in the morning to beat the crowds and cut wait times to a minimum. After taking in the grotto, enjoy a boat tour around the island with stops to swim and free time to explore on land.
  • Early arrival at the Blue Grotto to guarantee a visit inside the cave
  • Take in other highlights off the coast of Capri, including the Faraglioni
  • Relax on board with a padded sundeck, beverages, and snacks
  • Visit the Piazzetta and other sights on land at your own pace

Top 3 day of our lives
, Jun 2021
We met our boat Captain Sebastiano and his Officer Pasquale at the pier in Sorrent. They were on time and we started right away to board the small yacht which was in very good shape. We started at 08:00 in the morning to be the first to enter the blue grotto which was a great experience. After that we corcled the island and went off-ship to swim in the beatifiull azzurian water. Around noon we departed at Marina Piccola, from where we Tool a Bus to the town of Capri which is very beautiful though a little expensive but definitely a must-see. We gad four hours on our own to discover any part of the island we wanted to. After that we met again on the boat and drove right through the arc of the famous Faraglioni (Sebastiano is a great sailor and played Pavarotti during the passage). We stopped at another great point to swim a little and bath in the sun. After that we went back to Sorrento. The crew: Sebastiano and Pasquale were both very kind, funny, helpful and attentive. Even though they did the tour a lot of times it really seemed like they had a lot of fun too. Maybe that is the reason the tour went 10 hours instead of 8! In comparison we had one of the greatest days of our lives on this tour. The boat, the crew, the Mediterranean Sea, the island and the weather were just all perfect! Also the beverages (including beer, secco, limoncello) and the lunch at Marina Piccola were included. We don't know each other but please do this tour, you will not regret it!
We Would Go Again
, Sep 2020
So good that we would go again. Rendezvous point was easy to find and once everyone had arrived we were on our way. Sights were fantastic - Blue Grotto, Green Grotto, White Grotto, Cave of Love, Marina Piccola, Capri and the Faraglioni. We stopped to swim twice and still had a lot of time to visit Capri.

Must See - Capri

Loved it so much we would go again. Rendezvouz point was easy to find and as soon as everyone was there we headed out. There were so many great sights and the First Mate (Pasquale) took care of everyone.
Boat trip to Capri
, Sep 2020
This was a great trip. The skipper, Sebastiano, and Roberto were great and very accommodating. The earlier start paid dividends because we were the first boat at the Blue Grotto and so were the first group in to the cave that morning and so avoided reported long queues (note you have to pay separately to go in the Blue Grotto, €14 each, but it was clear that this was an extra charge). Recommend a trip up to Anacapri and then take the chair lift up to Monte Solaro to get best views of the island and beyond. We had 4 hours on the island and this was followed by a boat tour around the remainder of the island along with a glass of Prosecco. And we had a couple of opportunities to stop for a swim, All in all a great trip.
Access is NOT always possible

If you want see the Blue Grotto; Access is at "low tide" ONLY. Expensive boat ride unless it's low tide.

We had a spectacular day on the island and in the water. The communication prior and on the day of the tour was excellent. We met at the pier and our small group departed for Capri. The guide was great, funny and entertaining throughout the entire trip. We tried to enter the blue grotto but the sea was a bit rough. We still had time to swim in the beautiful water not once but twice. After a 3 hour visit to the island on our own we returned to the boat. I highly recommend going to the top, Anacapri, as it is much less crowded and they have nice shops and restaurants. Antonio Viva, the famous sandal maker is there still making sandals on the spot. There is also a chair lift to the very top with a spectacular view and a bar/café that is nice. After that you can go down either by taxi (30 euro each way), or the local bus to Capri where there are many designer shops and restaurants. Back on the boat we were taken to another area to swim into a cave and had a wonderful time. On the return trip we were served Prosecco. Great day on the water!! Highly recommend this tour!

What a great day! Even though we couldn't enter the blue grotto due to high tide, we were not disappointed. Dario was amazing and this day will go down as a life highlight, especially the memory of swimming in one of Capri's other amazing grottos.

We went through every boat excursion from Sorrento to Capris and this was our family choice with getting in the blue grotto without waiting for hours at the top of our priority list . Our captain , Dario (?sp?) was funny, knowledgeable, and a fantastic captain. We got in the blue grotto quickly, waiting only 15-20 minutes . We also went swimming at two different areas and stopped at all the breathtaking spots along the way . The boat was a beautiful, classic Italian wood boat and very clean. Having the free time in Capris was an adventure and only wished we planned it out better so we could have taken advantage of as much as possible in the few hours of free time we had. All said, great day and great experience. Highly recommended.

Rather rainy and drizzly for the first several days in Italy then the sun broke through just as we were boarding with Pasquale and Vincenzo. Very nice boat ride with lots of informative commentary by Pasquale. Unfortunately, wind and water conditions kept Blue Grotto closed but we tied up in Piccola Marina and took a cab to Capri for sightseeing and lunch. Several of our fellow travelers sunbathed on the forward deck on an even smoother boat ride back to Sorrento. Sorry we missed the Blue Grotto but glad we rode with the guys from MBS Blu Charter.
