Well organised tour of La Gomera

Very well organised tour. We had a native Dutch speaker so communication was perfect. He told us many interesting things about the island. It what you would expect from a tour like this. They drive you to different parts of the island and there are some stops along the way. A lot of them are view points. There is also a decent lunch included in a restaurant. I would not call it a safari though.

La Gomera is stunning, but there's a lot we wish we'd known in advance

We're very conflicted about recommending this. The scenery itself was spectacular, and we loved seeing La Gomera. Also, the tour seems to be a fairly good value compared to trying to book your own ferry ticket to La Gomera, plus, the roads are harrowing to try to drive yourself—our guide was an excellent driver. HOWEVER, there were several things that were unexpected, and we did have some Covid concerns. While our vehicle was comfortable and allowed for good viewing, there were a variety of vehicles in the caravan, with some people ending up packed into inward-facing jump seats that looked very uncomfortable. It just seems to be luck of the draw as to what you get. The information we got was interesting, but there was surprisingly little of it. We rode with the English-speaking guide, but they were basically silent while driving, only providing information at the handful of stops. It was unclear if that was policy or just personality, though a couple of times we did hear the Spanish-language guide providing additional interesting information that we'd not gotten in English. We wish we would've known in advance that the provided lunch would turn out to be indoor dining at a restaurant. Everyone was seated close to each other in mixed tables, and all the windows were closed, so no ventilation, meaning a higher Covid risk. That said, the demonstration of the whistling language was done there, and that was interesting and entertaining, though brief. The food was quite bland; the fish seemed to have been a better option. Also with respect to Covid, while everyone was masked up in the vehicles, there are several "pinch points" while getting on and off the ferry where you're forced to stand indoors in crowds with poor ventilation, and there are times when the vehicles had their canvas
