Absolutely loved this tour. We got to Chichen Itza before the large crowds did and before it got too hot. The cenote was stunning and lunch was great! Our guide Niko was super informative and made the tour great!

It was absolutely amazing! Our guide Jocelyn was fantastic and our driver was also amazing! Chichen itza was a wonderful experience it definitely made up for the heat. Lunch was also so so so good. Ending the day at the cenote was so refreshing and beautiful. Pictures do not do justice!

Incredible Experience-Incredible Guide (Jhony)!
Lacey_B
, May 2021
This was an amazing tour. Jhony was so knowledgeable—we learned a ton from him (beyond what you might find from easily accessible online sources). I like to eavesdrop on other tour groups to compare and I felt like we had the most knowledgable guide. He was also really considerate about the weather and made sure to explain things to us in the shade—much appreciated! He is also very funny and personable! And he will make sure you get all the pics you want. The cenote we went to was BEAUTIFUL and there were hardly any other people there. It was a young cenote (partially covered) which was really cool. It was so serene—an incredible experience! Lunch was delicious and fairly upscale. I would bring a few bucks for tip for wait staff. The setting was beautiful and we were very well taken care of. This was the highlight of our Tulum trip. Well worth the money and then some—especially in a place where “tourist prices” are rampant. P.S.—don’t be those people who don’t tip :)

Thank you for choosing Mexico Kan Tours and for leaving us a review. I am so happy you had such a good time and learned a lot in Jhony´s company. We appreciate your comment on tips. In Mexico it is customary to leave a tip in appreciation of good service. Many salaries in the tourism industry are low, as they are expected to be supplemented by a tip. We at Mexico Kan Tours are dedicated to responsible tourism, which means we pay our service providers fairly, however, leaving a tip as a gesture of appreciation to anyone involved on the tour is very much appreciated.

A Special Experience

My boyfriend Jesse and I attended this tour with Luigi as our guide. Luigi taught us so much about the history behind Chichen Itzá. He has a book to help you visualize what the sacred ground looked like in the past compared to what it preserved today. He is super funny and also an amazing photographer! He knows all the great photo spots and angles! He also took us to a breath taking Cenote, we were in awe of its natural beauty. The lunch included in the tour in Valladolid was phenomenal. 10/10 recommend this tour with Luigi!

Hoping to see you again one day.

Joseline “Chepa” was an amazing guide! She was very knowledgeable about Mayan history and culture which made the experience even better. From the food to swimming in the cenote to Chichen Itza itself, can’t recommend this enough!
