Pick up points start from Valletta at 7.45am via Marfa/Cirkewwa. Pickup points that are not on our route, will be guided by us to the nearest pick up point allocated.
It is very important that when you book, kindly note down where you will be staying, in order for us to give you the pickup instructions on confirmation.

Departure Time

8:00 AM
Begin with hotel pickup in Gozo or north Malta. Unless you are in a group of three or more, south Malta hotel pickups are not provided, and you will need to travel independently to the Gozo ferry departure point.

Then, meet at the Gozo quad base, listen to a safety briefing, and hop on your own quad bike as a driver or passenger (depending on option selected).

Next, set off behind your guide into Gozo’s rugged countryside. Follow dusty trails and stop for photos at beauty spots including the Qala Belvedere, Calypso Cave, and more. Ride through the picturesque Simar and Ramla valleys, Victoria, and Marsalforn Bay, and pause at Gozo’s coastal salt pans, Inland Sea, Fungus Rock, Quarries, Ta' Pinu, Kercem Heights, Xlendi, and other scenic spots.

Along the way, stop for food-tasting and shopping, and savor a 3-course lunch, including soup or pasta, fish, chicken, or pork, and dessert, all with soda, water, juice, or tea or coffee.

Afterward, enjoy a return 4x4 transfer to your Gozo hotel or, if your hotel is in Malta, a 20-minute return powerboat ride via the sea caves at Comino. Your tour then finishes with a drop-off at the original starting point.
Itinerary
Stop At:
Dwejra Bay
Dwejra, with its dramatic coastal formations and sea spilling over the rocks, is a magical attraction. Here you can swim in the spectacular deep sea of the bay, in the calm shallows of the inland sea or in the foamy waters around the Blue Hole – one of Gozo’s top dive-sites. Dwejra is also home of the Fungus Rock or, as it is locally known, “Il-Ġebla tal-Ġeneral”, General’s Rock. It is so called in remembrance of the Italian General who centuries ago fell to his death while supervising quarrying in the area. History tells us that a special plant believed to have medicinal and healing properties used to grow on Fungus Rock and because of this the Rock used to be heavily guarded during the era of the Knights of Malta. Anyone caught stealing the crop was sentenced to death or to a life rowing the Knights’ galleys. The crop was picked and brought to the mainland using a primitive system of baskets and pulleys.

Stop At:
Xwejni Salt Pans
On the north coast of Gozo, just past Qbajjar Bay west of Marsalforn, the coast is characterised by a chequerboard of rock-cut saltpans protruding into the sea. These 350-year-old salt pans, which stretch about 3km along the coast, are more than just scenic. They are part of the centuries-old Gozitan tradition of Sea-Salt production that has been passed down within certain families for many generations. During the summer months, locals can still be seen scraping up the crystals of salt. Once collected, the salt is stored and processed in the caves that have been carved into the coastal rock.

Stop At:
Ramla Bay
This is Gozo’s, and arguably Malta’s, best beach. A wide stretch of red sand, it is often referred to locally as “Ramla il-Ħamra” – the Red Sandy Beach! Ramla is a wonderful place to swim, snorkel and chill out in the sun. The area around the beach is wonderfully undeveloped, although there are a couple of cafes and a stall set back from the beach. The sand dunes are protected and the valley leading down to the bay is green and fertile. The terraced walls built by the farmers give the valley an appearance of a quilt when viewed from surrounding high ground. There is myth and history here too. Roman remains lie beneath the sands and Ramla Bay is reached from ix-Xagħra, on one of the hills overlooking the valley, or from the village of in-Nadur.

Stop At:
Marsalforn
Marsalforn is one of the most popular resort on the Island. In summer it throbs with life as hundreds of Gozitan and Maltese families move in to spend the summer at the coast and foreign visitors arrive for a revitalising dose of sun and sea. A beach of sand and small pebbles is backed by a promenade which runs right round the head of the bay, providing a pleasant place to stroll at all times of year and a traditional summer evening gathering place for local families and visitors alike.

Ghasri
Ghasri Valley, or Wied il-Ghasri is a breathtaking, narrow creek that seems right out of a postcard. Ghasri Valley’s narrow cove is approximately 300 metres long with a winding inlet and rugged, impressive high cliffs on both sides and about 100 steps down.
Stop At:
Inland Sea
The Inland Sea, sometimes called Qawra in Maltese and also known as Dwejra, is a lagoon of seawater on the island of Gozo linked to the Mediterranean Sea through an opening formed by a narrow natural arch. It was probably formed where a geological fault in the limestone had created a sea cave and the roof then collapsed.

Xlendi Beach, Cliff and Caves
Ix-Xlendi Bay is a popular swimming, snorkelling and diving spot. There is a small sandy beach leading into shallow waters perfect for young and old, while for the more adventurous it is deslightful to swim and snorkel in deeper water off the long stretch of rocks bordering the beach. Because of its reef formations, ix-Xlendi is an ideal diving site, even for beginners. This is also a typical Gozitan fishing village and well-served with good restaurants, bars and hotels.

From pick up to drop off what a day! Mini bus driver was very informative and fun. Speedboat over was good, a little chaotic the other side but soon sorted. Biking was good fun, guide was a lovely guy. If you are after a tour with lots of stops, photo poppy and information this may not be for you, we did have some stops and learnt lots. One of our group was very tentative so we didn’t stop as long at some spots as we may have normally done due to time. Lunch was fine. There was much more biking than I expected and this was great. I would certainly do it again - good value when it’s all taken into account. (I have tried to be brief but I could have said much more! Also for anyone else booking we went via quidco- a nice little % back 👍)

Fabulous trip! Highly recommend to anyone considering! Not only was it fun to ride around on the quads but we were taken to some breathtaking places! Our guide was great too really friendly got to know everyone and constantly checked everyone was doing ok whilst driving. This is the breakdown of the trip we took: on time pick up from our hotel (Joe the driver was fab) then onto the powerboat over to Gozo which was also quite fun in itself! When you arrive at Gozo you are promptly met by the team with Jeeps ready to take you to the quads. After filling in some paperwork (5 minutes) you are given a safety and usage demo of the quads (they are very easy to use). You then set off on convoy behind the guide, taken to 2 bays for swimming, some beauty spots for pictures and for lunch. We also stopped at the location for where the Azure window once stood where you have an opportunity for a boat trip (€4 and 15mins) around the groto, caves and over the remains of the Azure window. The skipper of the boat was very informative and was a great extra! In the middle of the trip you stop at a restaurant overlooking the sea with a fab view for a three course lunch which was quite nice, better than expected. Once the quad tour is over and you head back on the powerboat we where then taken on a short tour of some more caves before returning back to Malta. Overall it was an amazing experience and one of the highlights of our trip. We will certainly do again when we come back next year. Thank you so much team for a great day!

Very good trip! Loved the quads! Don’t make the mistake I did and please go for a swim at Ramla beach. It will be the only opportunity to chill at a lovely beach as the schedule is very packed!

A good day and a nice experience with the quads. You don't need to know how to use it before. If you are looking for a guided tour with lots of information maybe this is not the tour for you. This is more like a day trip on the road with many stops at great spots, with time for a swim, taking photos and appreciate the view. The lunch is in a restaurant with a planed menu with some options to choose. It was a great day!

One of the best!

One of our favorite tours we have ever been on. The quads were very enjoyable and a great way to see the island of Gozo. You would never be able to find the destinations on this tour trying to do it yourself, the swim spots were great. Felt very safe the whole time. Our guide Joe was brilliant we lost a phone on the trip and he was kind enough to bring us back during the lunch to help us find it.

TO DO !
MANON_M

Visiting Gozo by quad bike is really something to do, we got to see many things we wouldn't have done. Nevertheless, everything was timed, and the swimming breaks were quick (between 10 and 30 minutes). There was a delay during the meal. Indeed, it was a bit long. Very simple meal, which was not to everyone's taste. Otherwise the instructor was very friendly, and it was a really good time.

Quad biking in Gozo

Fantastic tour. Great stops, but not much time to have a swim...The diversity of the landscapes were fantastic.
icon Response from Host , Aug 2021
Dear Joy, Thank you for taking your time to review us and to give us your best rating. We have a program to follow and the swimstop is programmed for 30 to 34 minutes. Thank you once again and if you ever travel to our lovely Island again, we would be happy to welcome you on one of our tours. Take care!

Not a tour
Louise_H

The guide was really lovely and the taxi and ferry inclusions were great, however, we didn’t see all of the stops pictured and when we arrived at our destinations nothing was explained. More of a joy ride then a tour.
icon Response from Host , Aug 2021
Dear Louise, Thank you for taking time to review our tour. Can you please specify how your guide was really lovely when nothing was explained? If on your stops you had no explenation, I guess then you just stayed by your quad waiting for the time to leave as you you wouldn't know how long the stop is, but on the other hand the tour leader was great! I am sorry but your comments do not make any sense. Have a great day!
