Your tour begins with pickup from your Valletta hotel in time for a short drive to the first stop of the day, the San Anton Gardens.

Follow your guide on a walking tour of the beautiful botanical gardens, in the grounds of the San Anton Palace, the residence of the Maltese President. Continue to Rabat and head underground to visit one of the island’s most impressive Roman ruins — the Catacombs of St. Paul. As you explore the eerie tombs, learn how the catacombs were used to bury the dead back in Roman times, and the connection with their namesake, St Paul.

The final stop of the day is Mdina, the historic city that served as the island capital up until the 16th-century. Set out on a walking tour of the city’s highlights, including the magnificent Cathedral of Saint Paul, the grand 13th-century Palazzo Falzon, and the elegant Palazzo Santa Sofia.

Your tour ends with drop-off at your Valletta hotel.

Rabat Mdina, San Anton Gardens with St Pauls Catacombs Tour

I would have given 5 stars but I felt the Tour guide was rushing us through the tour. That plus a young baby was crying and screaming during most of the tour made it quite unpleasant.

The overall trip was good but the transportation requires a little more time to give the participants more time in the catacombs during daylight hours and before closing. Maybe it's better if the majority of travelers meet at a more central location so the bus drivers don't have to travel all over town just picking up and dropping off travelers. That poor bus driver! Pick up and drop off takes up a considerable amount of time for multiple tours. Wasn't impressed with the gardens, nice to see the palace for the president but there wasn't much to see in the gardens. Seeing the catacombs was great and we're glad we went but for the price and time we could've gone on our own but we wouldn't have heard the background from the tour guide, she was knowledgeable and gave us insights into the history of Mdina and Malta in general.
