Guided Communist City Tour of Zadar

The first part was a walking tour of the city's main sights with good discussion. The second part was sitting and a presentation with pictures of Tito and his influence on the area. This part was a little long and it was dark while we were on a park bench, so not really the best environment for learning. Our guide, though young was knowledgeable.

Nice tour. Saw many of the important sites. Small group of friendly people. Talk on Tito a little too long but overall very interesting.

Our guide was excellent. She walked us through the city, through the ancient Roman ruins artifacts and imparted a comprehensive history of Communism in Croatia.

Our tour guide, Harry, was very knowledgeable and very entertaining. He gave us great insight into what it was like living under Tito’s rule. He also told us about modern Zadar, showing us around his city. He made the tour a lot of fun. Personally, I think it was worth twice the price!

A very well told explanation of why this part of the world has had such a turbulent history. The extra time we spent with the young lady who took our group was really good.
