Such beautiful lakes, a great excursion which was well organised and a lot of fun. Highly recommend a visit
Great day out
, Oct 2019
We were picked up on time & taken up to the lakes by a mini bus being a smaller group. The bus was very comfortable, the guide for the day was very informative & very helpful throughout the day. The lakes didn't disappoint. Stunning. Even at this time it was busy, but comfortable, would hate to think what it is like in July & August. Overall great day, albeit a long one. Our 5 year old was exhausted by the end of the day but he did manage to walk all the way.
Beautifu but busy park
, Aug 2019
We went on quite a hot day so we needed lots of water! The tour operator was very organised and the bus ride was very informative. Once at the park there is no information at all, you are just herded like cattle along the walk way. I felt that there was too much walking at the start and the second part of the day was over too quick. We went on a ferry crossing that lasted about 1 minute then walked for about 2 hours with no breaks. The paths are very conjested and there is not much room for photo taking. We then had a break and caught the bus to go see the water fall. I would definately reccomend not going in summer as there isn't much water and it is extremely hot and busy. The tour was convinient but not necessary. If you have a car drive yourself and get there as soon as the park opens to avoid some of the crowds. The tour was fine but a few more stops to break the day up and some information inside the park would make it better value for money.
Amazing location with an excellent, friendly guide. The organisation on the day was excellent and we had a lovely time

Would definitely recommend this trip as the scenery was beautiful and the location was clean and well looked after. The walkways fitted in well with the park. A great day
Good Visit
, Jun 2019
The tour was good because it sorted out logistics such as transport, tickets and the best route to walk (we managed to avoid most of the crowds). However the group was very large (around 50 people) which meant that there was a lot of waiting and a slower walking pace. If you have access to a car/own transportation I would go with that instead but if you are looking for a tour this is a good one.

One of the best ways to spend a day in Zadar

The park itself is amazing, even better than it looks in the photos. The walking paths next to waterfalls and through the forest are simply wonderful. Our guide Zrinka was great!
Best day out!

Fantastic day out and views that are out of this world! Be prepared that the weather at plitvice is totally different to zadar. You needs to wear comfy shoes and take layers. Totally worth the money.
