Start the excursion by savoring Croatian foodstuffs with a meat platter at a nearby eatery. Those who want to get the party started early can enjoy an included taste of “rakija,” the local brandy.
Stay hungry as you proceed to Dolac Market, the largest farmer's market in the country, where you’ll savor the celebrated sheep’s cheese produced on the island of Pag.
Enjoy an exploration and once you’ve burned a few calories, head to your next food stop. You’ll get the chance to sample typical Croatian dishes as you taste either "sarma" (stuffed cabbage) or "punjene paprike" (stuffed peppers), depending on the season. Wash it down with some "gemist," a local beverage that combines sparkling water and wine.
Do you have a sweet tooth? Wrap things up and harry up through the Gric Tunnel to reach your sweet surprise.
Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee before your finish at Bana Josipa Jelacica Square.
