A fantastic experience traversing Stonetown with two wonderful tour guides. I would recommend this to anybody visiting the area.
Yusuf started the tour and Imran took over for the rest. Both were incredibly friendly, insightful and professional along with being experts in their field. They were also very accommodating - they helped us to find suitable shops/markets to pick up bits and pieces that we were looking to purchase and dropped us off to a beautiful rooftop restaurant at the end of the tour. After we ate they returned to us to escort us safely back to our taxi.
The tour was both informative and relaxed. It is a must for anyone wanting to experience all there is to see in Stonetown!

Very nice experience but we expected a bit more historical information

Ali was very friendly and it was a pleasure to explore the city with him. However we expected a bit more information about the history of this beautiful city, as some of the facts we already new from the book guide about Zanzibar, and we were eager to know more. Also he said that the St Joseph church is closed for visits, but few days laters we discovered that there is an entrance from the back with the information that the church could be visited every day from 9AM to 6PM. But overall it was a nice experience to visit the city with him, to discover differences between Indian and Arab architecture, and get some recommendations where to take a coffee, or eat in a roof top restaurant.

This was one of the most thorough and fun tours I’ve taken in a long time. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history of Stonetown and walking the streets and seeing all the sites. This tour with Ally is so exciting.
He explained the culture and history of Stone Town. You can actually feel the culture as walking during this tour.
I also did a food Tour and it was exciting going to the evening market. It’s a experience I would never forget.

A beautiful tour around stone town

It was a great tour. Aly was very knowledgeable, had perfect English and an overall nice person.
He first met us with the typical Zanzibary smile. We went to the old fort, we saw the beautiful zanzibar doors and knew their interesting stories, the small alleys of stone town, the slave market and the church.
We felt as if we were in Stone town for long.
I highly recommend him if you want the perfect tour in stone town.
