The official departure point for all tours departing from Zürich is Sihlquai Bus Terminal, close to Zürich’s main train station (Zürich HB). Please check in at least 15 minutes prior to tour start at the white ticket office marked with “Best of Switzerland Tours” or “City Tours & Excursions”.

The location was great but the bus tour wasn’t . It left late ( twenty minutes ) the bus seats were not great ( reclined without being told too) into seat behind . And the bus driver was having his own private conversation in Italian with a guest for a lot of the Journey which meant the guide couldn’t speak as much as he wanted and also he was distracted . In theory a great trip but the transfer wasn’t at all

It was a beautiful way to spend the day! Tamara was an excellent guide who went above and beyond to meet our needs and answer our questions. The boat ride is a must (note- bring cash). Stein am Rein was so quaint and cute. My only complaint would be that I wish we had maybe a half hour more time there!

My expectations were low. This was a large group tour. However, I was incredibly surprised at how enjoyable it was. We were on a very clean, AC bus. Our guide was tremendous - this ALWAYS makes the tour. She did a great job providing interesting tidbits of information during the drive to the falls, not too much but just right. The falls were beautiful. The little town we visited was perfect. Would have loved to be able to spend additional time there. The bus driver took us back a different way so we saw two different sides to the countryside. All in all a great tour and I would HIGHLY recommend! Great value!

Our guide was fantastic, very informative. The Rhine Falls were gorgeous. I would recommend taking the boat ride like we did (sit up front) and you get the best view of the falls and can feel the power of the water. Stein am Rhein is a beautiful place. This tour is worth it and would go again.

View of falls was gorgeous. Tour guide was nice. But, the bus was very hot (hot day, but could’ve cooled off before we got on). Also, when we missed part of our tour (our fault) we were just told no wo trying to accommodate. Needed to be a little less rigid of a tour imo.

We are sorry to hear that the temperature aboard the bus hindered you from fully enjoying your tour. All our buses are comfortable travel coaches with air-conditioning, but we do understand that it can still get quite warm in a fully occupied bus. Unfortunately, it is forbidden by law to run the engine, and thus the air conditioning, while the bus is stationary. This also means that the bus inevitably warms up during boarding and the visit at the Rhine Falls. Unfortunately, we are confronted with late arrivals every day, which is why the tour guides wait for a maximum of 10 minutes after the announced departure time. While we fully understand that your experience was disappointing, we kindly ask you to understand that it is also a question of consideration towards all guests that arrive punctually. For guests looking for more flexibility, we would advise booking a private tour, where the itinerary can be fully adapted to your needs. The trip was wonderful, but you should know that there are a number of uneven steps involved, even with an elevator. For older people or those who may have walking issues, this may be a problem. My husband was one of these.

The Rhine Falls are one of Switzerland's most popular tourist destinations and can get very busy during the summer holidays, especially on a hot day like your travel day. All our buses are comfortable travel coaches with air-conditioning, but we do understand that it can get quite warm in a fully occupied bus. Unfortunately, it is forbidden by law to run the engine, and thus the air conditioning, while the bus is stationary. This also means that the bus inevitably warms up during the stop at the Rhine Falls and in Stein am Rhein. Great view of the Falls and countryside

The Rhine Falls are amazing. We went on the additional boat ride to the foot of the falls and that was even more incredible. The walk back up was very challenging but well worth the trip. The visit to Stein am Rheim was lovely. It was a quaint small town with lots of history, shops, and natural beauty. The trip was longer than I expected, but we saw so much of the beautiful countryside.

Both locations are beautiful, though the time is very much limited. Don't expect to have time for lunch, better to get some snacks/drinks to have on the go. Otherwise, very nice tour. Thanks to our guide and organizers!

We are sorry to hear that the service provided by your tour guide did not meet your expectations. We would have loved to discuss your feedback with your tour guide, but unfortunately, we couldn’t identify him/her without your exact travel date. Since this tour starts at 13:15, we do not dedicate any time for lunch at the Rhine Falls. However, there is a kiosk at the entrance where guests can buy snacks and drinks at their own expense. Depending on traffic conditions, we also include a 1 hour stop in Stein am Rhein. While the first half is spent on a guided walking tour of the Old Town, our guests spend the second half at leisure. Unfortunately, we are not entirely clear why you were denied both opportunities, but we understand that it is a long afternoon if you have indeed not taken any breaks.
